TERMS OF SERVICE

1. WHAT HANDYNOW IS

HandyNow is a marketplace connecting customers with independent service providers ("Pros") for home services including cleaning, plumbing, and electrical work. HandyNow facilitates the connection and payment between customers and Pros — Pros are independent contractors, not HandyNow employees.

2. ACCOUNTS

You must provide accurate information when registering and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old to use HandyNow. One account per person — accounts are not transferable.

3. BOOKINGS AND PAYMENT

When you book a service, payment is held in escrow by HandyNow until you confirm the work is complete. HandyNow charges Pros a commission on each completed booking — this is already reflected in the price you see, customers are never charged extra fees beyond the agreed price (plus any emergency surcharge, clearly shown before you book).

4. CANCELLATIONS

Customers may cancel a booking before a Pro begins traveling to the job, with a full refund if payment was already made. Once a Pro is en route or has started work, cancellation is handled through our dispute resolution process instead. Pros who cannot complete an assigned job must cancel before traveling — the customer will be notified and fully refunded.

5. VERIFICATION AND TRUST

Pros must submit identity documents (NIN and a government-issued ID) for review before receiving job requests. Higher trust tiers are earned automatically based on completed job history and customer ratings — they cannot be purchased or manually granted.

6. DISPUTES

If you're unhappy with completed work, raise a dispute before confirming completion rather than releasing payment. Our team reviews disputed bookings and decides on a refund, release, or split based on the evidence provided by both parties.

7. PROHIBITED CONDUCT

You may not use HandyNow to arrange illegal services, harass other users, attempt to circumvent our payment system, or submit false information during verification.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

HandyNow facilitates connections between customers and independent Pros but is not a party to the service agreement itself. While we verify identity documents and maintain a rating system, we cannot guarantee the quality of work performed by any individual Pro. Our dispute resolution process exists specifically to address issues when they arise.

9. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of HandyNow after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
