How quickly can I get help?

For scheduled bookings, Pros typically respond with quotes within minutes to a few hours. For emergency bookings, nearby Pros are notified immediately and can often respond within 30 minutes.

Is my payment safe?

Yes. Your payment is held in escrow by HandyNow from the moment you book until you confirm the job is done. The Pro never receives payment until you're satisfied.

What if I'm not happy with the work?

Before confirming completion, you can raise a dispute instead. Our team reviews the case and decides on a refund, release, or split — no money moves without that review.

How are Pros verified?

Every Pro submits their NIN and a government-issued ID, reviewed by our admin team. Higher trust tiers (Trusted Pro, Elite Pro) are earned automatically through completed jobs and ratings — never manually assigned.

What areas do you cover?

We're currently live in five Abuja areas: Gwarinpa, Wuse, Jabi, Lugbe, and Lokogoma. We're expanding to Lagos, Port Harcourt, Kano, and Ibadan next.

How much does HandyNow cost?

Booking is free — you only pay for the service itself, plus a small platform fee already included in your Pro's quote. Emergency bookings carry an additional surcharge.

How do I become a Pro?

Sign up, choose "I'm a Pro" during registration, and submit your verification documents. Most reviews complete within 24 hours.
